Extension of store

Noor Construction Engineers undertook the extension of the existing store facility at Meerut Substation for Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), with the objective of providing a safe, durable, and well-organized storage area for mandatory spares and essential substation materials.

The project involved the construction and extension of the store infrastructure, including civil and structural works, foundations, flooring, roofing, masonry, doors and openings, finishing works, and other associated building services as required. The facility was planned to ensure adequate space, accessibility, protection, and systematic storage of critical spare equipment and materials.

Special attention was given to construction quality, structural stability, workmanship, and site safety while carrying out the work within the operational substation environment. The extended store provides improved storage capacity and helps facilitate efficient handling, preservation, and availability of mandatory spares required for the reliable operation and maintenance of the substation.
